Jennifer Lopez She celebrated the 20th anniversary of her album „J.Lo“ in style this weekend, and recreated the now infamous music video for „Love Don’t Cost a Thing“ two decades later.

„Happy 20th anniversary of my second album, J Lo !!!! I had a little fun at the last photo session,“ she captioned a video on social media showing her walking on the beach to the song, undressing in the sand.

Among the hashtags I used is #LoveDontCostAThingChallenge, which I also shared on Twitter. „#LoveDontCostAThingChallenge starts now !!!!“ She excitedly tweeted. „I can’t wait to see your renditions.“

It didn’t get much recreation – and the responses, however Act Getting very hilarious.

„Not a big challenge,“ one follower joked. He retweeted the video – a post that garnered 82,000 likes. “Do you want all of us to rush to the beach in the parking lot for our friends to film us throwing good jewelry? I’m confused,” read another response that he liked more than 22,000 times.

„Were we supposed to throw our valuables ashore?“ Another fan joked. „Is it the challenge to find it after its throwing BC that we cannot afford to exchange it?!? What are the instructions?!?! ?????“

Another follower posted “Hey girl, it’s so cold for that” – while one follower added, “We’re at Panini, we still haven’t gotten the second stimulus and you want us to go out and throw our innocence away in the sand ?!?”

When searching the same hashtag on Twitter, a slew of tweets emerged that simply commented on the lack of recreation … or people hoping to portray Nick Cannon’s dance moves in „Love Don’t Cost a Thing“ instead.

However, there were a few more Instagram videos – including one replacing white sand with snow.
